The relationship between singing and spoken voice/text, the actor/singer, dancer/singer and instrumentalist/singer is what I find most interesting: the compromises that may have to be addressed, the way the body adjusts for different physical activities, and the way that the mind also adjusts.

 

I enjoy the workshop and masterclass format, and have presented sessions all around the country and abroad for singers in a wide range of focus - from 'belt' to 'auditioning'.

 

I also run courses, day, weekend and week-long in various venues, usually in conjunction with a practitioner from another discipline, such as dance, Alexander Technique, or stage direction.  See below for forthcoming courses.
